umm some guy passed me illegally passed me and almost took off my bumper into a red light, so i got out of my car to see what was going on. He came at me and threw me up against my car. I pushed him off me to see it was a cop from a diffrent town where he threw me to the side of the road screaming "Shut the fuck up, and sit the fuck down" from there he wanted to press charges becuase of what he did to cover himself.

I take it to check out if there was damage on the car. And that guy is a bad cop and has no business being one. Edit: I would fight it, and also file a complaint with the police department.
I had something similar happen where my mother was bringing my brother to school and a motorcycle cop hit the side of her car. The cop only had his lights on and no siren. And on top of that, he didn't have an emergency call. He just turned on the lights to get through traffic. And to make matters worse, you had 7 witnesses that they brought in and 6 of them confirmed my mothers story but the 7th happen to be a friend of a friend of the cops and lied to the courtroom and said the siren was on and that my mother parked the car in the middle of the road saying she was blocking traffic so my brother could cross the road. Which of course all of this was bs. And in the end she had to pay 1k to the city.
This stuff really pisses me off because of the abuse of power. Nothing is worse then taking the trust that the public puts in public servants and then they turn around and shit on you. If you want to pull this kind of crap they should of been in the private sector, of least there they aren't as protected by there peers in government.
/end rant

If it happened at a red light, you might be lucky enough that there might have been a red light cam there. If not, take it to the press. Look into the Charlotte police department recent activity to see what I'm talking about.
I've had a situation similar to this myself. I was at a three way intersection with a right turn yield lane, meaning I had the right of way, but cars speed throught the intersection, so I stopped because I didn't feel like getting a wreck that I could avoid even if it wouldn't be my fault (and my kids could have been hurt). The person behind me was obsessively honking their horn, cursing to the point that I could hear him inside my car with my windows up, and slowly inching closer to my bumper. I had my kids in the car (and this is where I now feed what I did was stupid and could gone bad really quickly), but I got out, went to his car (which is when I saw he was less than 2 inches from hitting my car) and asked why he wanted me to put my children in danger by pulling out into oncoming traffic. He got out of his car and started yelling about being a cop and that i had the right of way and should go even if it meant getting into an accident because I wouldn't be at fault. I was lucky. An off duty officer from my district happened to be in the car behind him, witnessed the whole thing, and arrested him on harrassment.

My lawyer stated all my options and the one that sounded the easiest and the best would be to take an Ordinance Violations
A) Described as "not mowing your lawn" or playing music to loud) Which has no impact on future jobs and does not follow my record. The recoil to that is id have to pay 100-500 per ticket (but he would push for getting 2 removed.)
B)The second is to continue pleading not guilty go to trial and hope for the best, the negative part would be that if found guilty i get hit with fines, community service and a smack on my record, the upside is found innocent None of the above apply
C)The last part is the cop doesn't show up and the whole thing gets dismissed, the likelyhood of the that is terribly low because the couple is doing this out of spite right now therefor he would go there to spit me.
Any thoughts?
I think choice A would be ideal

I would take the plea bargain and be done with it.
You pay a fine now, it'll suck, and then it's like it never happened.
A trial is risky, and there isn't really much likelihood you'll win given the lack of substantiation for your POV. Ideally, going to trial should mean that charges get cleared, but the sad reality is that's not the way the world works.
I'm not sure if the arrest gets expunged with a plea bargain though.

So long story made short,
My lawyer met with prosecutor before I saw the judge, Prosectutor said that the "Private Citizen" was never summoned
(Would be postponed 2-3 week BIG SAD FACE)
Went befor the judge, Judge found a paper showing he was a officer from another township and was summoned to my Arrayment, and to today,
My lawyer requested a dismissal on terms that the officer did not follow throw on his tickets.
Dismissal on all 3 Charges, no fines, no bullshit
