Default Web Design Question

Hey, I am in need of learning PHP and MySQL for a project/business I am working on. I was wondering if any of you guys knew any good books you have personally used to learn this. Any web sources would be helpful as well.

As far as past experience goes, I am at the novice level, so sources should be introductory (then maybe more advanced suggestions for after I learn the basics) or other languages that would be good to know before I dive into PHP and MySQL. I do know a little html/javascript but mostly the basics.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

When ever I need info on a new language, or whatever, I head to Barnes and Nobles or Borders and rummage through the computer section. They have an ass ton of books on just about every langauge you'll need.

I especially like it because you don't really need to by the books. Once you figure out what you need to focus on you can jot down some notes and google from there.

Not sure about PHP but SQL is pretty easy to grasp.
